"Skipper is very, very talented and in training. He is doing everything and does everything that I want him to do with no problem. I hope he will be very successful in the 2010 show season in Futurity 3 year olds."
– Tamara Koresova, owner, Czech Republic
“I have worked with and trained 100’s of horses in the last 50 years…..he is by far the best…..mentally, emotionally and physically. I use him as my signature horse in all my clinics. I started him with groundwork as a weanling and he is doing a lot of the exercises ‘freestyle’ now. I started riding him in March (08), I use Andrea Fappani’s reining methods and techniques to train him. I am limited ‘weather wise’ in that I do not have a covered arena. However, he learns quickly and is getting solid foundation. Whizard has a great ‘horsenalaty’ and when people first see him, he takes their breath away.” – Dudley Mandy, owner & trainer – Springbuck Horsemanship “This horse is AMAZING. I got him by accident and it was the best thing that has happened to my program. Due to some minor injuries here and there, this guy only had 120 days on him in the last two years and all together he is simply unbelievable. If they were all like him, anybody could train their own reiner. These photos are at our first show with literally 120 days of riding him and I could not be more proud of him. If all of his natural talent, breeding and looks are not enough, he has just blown everybody away with his great disposition. My seven year old son used him last year to drag calves at the branding and Sayo is his main riding horse. My one year old daughter totally loves him and drags him all over the place. You will not find another horse that is so aware of where she is at and watches out for her as much as he does. This horse has truly been a blessing and I cannot express how much I love him. He is great part of our family”. – Owner & Trainer, Tabitha Smith – TS Quarter Horses “I am very happy that my horse is so good minded and has a lot of potential. I think we will hear very much about Bueno Sayo in Europe in the future.” Owner Katerina Svedova, Trainer Pavel Orel
Bueno Sayo won the NRHA Czech Futurity Non-Pro, 2008 and the Consolation Non-Pro in Italy, 2008. On August 17, 2008 KR competed in his first Futurity, Spooks Gotta Gun Futurity in Hamilton Ontario Canada. KR came in first and won his first Lawson Trophy. KR is probably one of the biggest hearted and most talented horses I've ever ridden. He is always trying to please and wants to work. He is a strong colt with a very quiet and laid back disposition. I look forward to showing this great horse for many years. Molly and Harvey Stevens, Owners, Molly Stevens, Trainer. Owned and trained by Klara Salkova. He’s going to be a huge stopper & have a nice turn around. He has a jump back through the tracks rollback, is absolutely gorgeous and loves attention. Mainly I have been seasoning him for the NRHA shows because he is so versatile. He has competed in the Ultimate Horsemen’s Challenges this summer (2008) which was good for his mind” – Kassie Fedrick, owner “Dozer is by far the best colt we have ever had the opportunity to own and will probably never come across another like him in our lifetime. Not only is he the most mellow and mild mannered stud I have ever been around in my life, he’s such an old soul and wise for his years. Seems to know what he was bred to do and acts like he’s been doing it for years. He loves to close his eyes and nap (hence the barn name Dozer) while being loped in circles. He trusts Tracy (Tracy Brumley) our trainer, that much. We are looking for a successful show season at the fall futurities with this fine colt! Can’t say enough good things about him or his sire, Sayos Shining Sun. We will be breeding back to Sayos for many years to come, hoping for another Dozer”.
– Vanessa Vermillion-Meza, Owner
Dozer placed 1st in the Reining by the Bay Futurity in 2007. “He has lots of energy and definitely needs a job. He is cowy, extremely quick & athletic. He is learning to be a roping horse. He is currently trailing cattle and getting broke in the box. He has a huge gas petal.” Jim & Laura Kahl - Owners Shine Time, HAHR #1A 343165, 2001 Palomino Gelding. This big beautiful Palamino has lots of show and lots of stop. His numerous show ring wins were topped off with his latest success – a US National Championship title. He loves to show and he loves work - he has also been started on cattle. SHOW HIGHLIGHTS: 2006 US National Champion Half Arabian Reining Horse, AAOTR and 2006 Top Ten Futurity Reining Horse. Smart Shining Jewel currently has $8,918 in earnings. Smart Shining Gun currently has$5,929.00 in earnings. Smart Shining Star has accumulated $3925 in earnings. “My daughter Lindsey is only 13 and has shown Scooter in a few green reining shows, including the Summer Slide in Denver in July, 2008. She has also shown him in several western pleasure shows where they usually place first or second with 15 contestants. She is still learning reining also with Manny Beltran as her trainer. Scooter is responding well for Lindsey but when Manny is on him, he does 1+spins.” Owners Lorri and Lindsey Strizich Champ is an extremely curious and level headed colt. He is eager to please. He also is extremely athletic and fast. Tug on the other hand is a little more laid back and just goes with the flow. He is also athletic and is willing to do what is asked of him. He is definitely a looker. -Owner Trish Sitton
They both will be in first 60-90 basic day training with Jason Robinson in April or May of 2009. After that, Marcy Ver Meer is in consideration for training them from there for reining.
